What age can children start?
Our classes are for children aged 5 to 16. Complete beginners are welcome at any time of year - no experience needed.

What martial art do you teach?
A bespoke freestyle syllabus built around Tae Kwon-Do, blending Taekwondo, Kickboxing, Thai-Boxing, Karate, Kung-Fu and MMA, with a focus on confidence, discipline and fitness.

The Badminton clubs listed here run exclusively for pupils of their school - each is marked "Only for pupils of this school" above.

What are the benefits of martial arts for children?
As well as learning self-defence, children build confidence, focus, discipline, respect and fitness. The classes are designed to bring out the best in every child, and many parents tell us they notice a difference in behaviour and self-belief within a few weeks.
Is martial arts safe for young children?
Yes. Classes are structured and closely supervised, with children grouped by age and stage. Tiger Martial Arts holds the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts accreditation, so you can be confident your child is training in a safe, well-run environment.
What does my child need for their first class?
Just comfortable sportswear and a water bottle - there's no uniform to buy to get started. Once your child joins, we'll sort out their Tiger Martial Arts suit.
